my forum is filled with spammers and I have no idea how to solve it.

I want to report, remove the accounts and also stop the 'contact' spam

It would be a good idea to check this and enable some of the spam features available https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/administration/spam/

Enable Register Recaptcha in mybb settings.
Admin cp -> Configuration -> General Configuration -> CAPTCHA Images for Registration & Posting
(if you need login Recaptcha v2 I have a non-free plugin for this.)
