plugin for more admin control - kd4fbi - 2007-09-08
Hi,
I am setting up a myBB forum that is Amateur (Ham) Radio related. We will have users from kids (under 18) to adults. I have a forum set up that is specifically for kids - no adults other than moderators allowed.
I am looking for a plug in that will block users over the age of 18 from being able to view the age or date of birth for the kids.
I tried to use the dobplus, it activates, but then I don't see any controls for the admin or user to use. I read the posts on it and it seems that it's for the user's control rather than the admin. I am running the default templates.
If anyone has any suggestions or plugins that you think would work the way I would like them to, please let me know.
I don't know how to write a plugin or do the coding for it.

The DOBPlus plugin won't do that anyway. It only lets the user hide their date of birth, it doesn't prevent them access to certain forums.
