A few questions. - mightymints - 2009-02-12
First of all, my first mybb forum has been up for a few years and is really successful.
I love the layout and how everything works. I just opened a new webpage, and have also added a forum to it. On my older site, i am running mybb 1.2.9 as I can never be bothered to update it. It works for me and so is fine.
The thing is, on my new site, I am running 1.4.4 . On 1.2.9, the posts writing is on the right, and then down the left hand side is the avatar and the other information. On 1.4.4 it is above the post, and I dont really like this. Is there any way that I can change it back?
I'm new to themes as my friend made my last one, so any help would be very much appreciated.
If there isnt really a way of changing it, is there a way that I can simply install 1.2.9 ?

Slightly confused at what PHPMyAdmin is, im guessing its something else i need to add to the ftp.

Be aware that your forum is very vulnerable to exploits. It's not that difficult to upgrade if you take the time to read the documentation.

It won't make current avatars larger if that's what you mean.

Lol I did it already. I think im just confused y how many extra options there now are on this version.
I have to say, its very much better. Thanks for your help everyone. Now I just have to learn how to make a theme
