RE: [1.4.x/1.6.x] Thank You/Like System v1.4 (Updated: 07/31/2011) - Jen_Vuongyen - 2011-08-17

Hi there ^^
I'm using it and there are members who can not press Like. It says You do not have permission to access this page. Though one of them even a Global Moderator. And the page they are viewing only requires a number of posts and they already had enough posts (means they can view the page but can't press Like).

Do you have any idea?

Here is the code for who uses ChangUonDyU - Advanced Statistics (1.0).

			if ($_REQUEST['do'] == 'topthank' && $db->field_exists("tyl_unumrcvtyls","users"))
			{
				$top_query = $db->query("SELECT uid,username,usergroup,displaygroup,tyl_unumrcvtyls FROM ".TABLE_PREFIX."users ORDER BY tyl_unumrcvtyls DESC LIMIT $cresult");
				while ($top = $db->fetch_array($top_query))
				{
					$title = $top[username];
					if ($topuserclimit > 0 && my_strlen($top[username]) > $topuserclimit)
					{
						$top[username] = my_substr($top[username], 0, $topuserclimit).'...';
					}
					$top[username] = format_name($top[username], $top[usergroup], $top[displaygroup]);

					$colum1 = "<a href='member.php?action=profile&uid=".$top[uid]."'>".$top[username]."</a>";
					$colum2 = $top[tyl_unumrcvtyls];

					eval("\$chang_top_element .= \"".$templates->get("changuondyu_top_bit")."\";");
				}
				$h1 = $lang->changstats_username;
				$h2 = '';
				eval("\$changuondyu_topoutput = \"".$templates->get("changuondyu_top_head")."\";");
				echo $changuondyu_topoutput;
			}

I've enabled it, configured the settings and made sure all the edits are correct, but it just keeps on saying 'Loading, please wait' all the time.

How are you controlling how many posts they require before allowing them to post? Are you using group permissions or are you using a plugin? If its a plugin then thats probably why. The plugin uses the permissions for posting to determine who can give thanks but I can not guarantee that if its being controlled by a plugin.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin. Make sure all the files are overwritten with the new ones from the latest version. Double check the template edits making sure there are not doubles.

If you have done the above and it still doesn't work then I will need your url and a test account so I can have a look at it.

I disabled the Random Security Question and it started working, so I have to keep this one disabled as I like the Random Security Question.

In that case you are not using the latest version of this plugin or you did not upload all the required files with the new version. This conflict problem is fixed in the latest version of the plugin so if you are still having problems you have either not upgraded or not upgraded properly.

You probably don't have all the edits required. Try Deactivating/Activating first, if that doesn't fix it then manually check that all the template edits have been made according to this post:

Indeed! The thousands coma separator is causing the stats calculations to zero out, this will be fixed in the next release.
