Read/Unread Posts/Threads

hi

i have a qestuion about thedisplay of the read/unread posts and threads.


most of the time it does not change the little icon for read/unread posts/threads.

is there a fix for this?
i have to use "Today's Posts" all the time, just to see whats new...

Yeah, it's a bit buggy. If after reading the posts in a forum, you go to that forums forum display before going back to the board index. The new post icon should go to the grey state.

Well, is there a code I can add to showthread.php to check the parent forum for new posts and updates the forum icon? Or any other way?

This has been a problem since like RC2... I hope 1.4 will crush it once and for all

Maybe a little fixed code for users before 1.4 will be released?

It amuses me that people assume that something which took a whole new version to fix can be:
a) Fixed in MyBB 1.2
b) Fixed with the same code as in MyBB 1.4
