UPDATE: someone helped me through this problem. Thanks! All set.


The calendar is perfect for what we want.  We see how we can have any member add an event to the calendar.

What I can't figure out is how to set something up where people can post on an event as an RSVP.  I've seen some refer to doing this as a poll or adding a poll to all events so people can RVSP that way.  

We don't want forums for our events- just things appearing on the calendar and people being able to list they are attending there.

Is there any way to do this? Is there a way to add a poll or an RSVP to events in the calendar?

UPDATE: We've tried to use this.
We got through the file upload and the install and we see Event Thread in the Configuration. However we don't see the thread option showing up in the Calendar event.
