[General] Question Regarding New Update [1.8.8]

Well, I was busy with my papers, though I was aware of the update, but due to lack of time wasn't able to do it ..!! Can You Please? Let m know? Ah? After Update, Do I have to change and reset all plugins Including Theme? Or Old exisiting plugins And Theme of 1.8.7 will work? In new version 1.8.8 ..!!
