Having trouble getting email activation to work properly. I had a user try signing up, but didn't receive an email activation.

When I check the System Email Log, I get the following error:

"The SMTP server did not respond correctly to the AUTH LOGIN command"

That being said, when I try signing up on my own using a new account, I can still receive the email activation. I believe I've setup SMTP correctly - after all, I can still receive emails myself.

Any idea what's going on here?

I think you should contact your Hosting Provider First.
