Place header ad in header of Inspired 0.2

I read on this board hot to add a header advert, but, although I can see the change when I add the footer add in the default theme, I can't see the header ad when I insert the html code.  I tried Inspired and Inspired 0.2, then both, even removed the whole header in the script, but still no change to the header when I do this.

How should the header be placed?
