I was a user of www.stopforumspam.com website for months to identify spammers before finding and installing the plugin. It absolutely works great! My forum would get almost 30 spam accounts a day and I'd have to shut down registration as part of cleanup. After installing this plugin I only had 1 spammer account created in 2 weeks and after checking stopforumspam.com deleted it before spam was posted.
