I'm so far been unable to find the cause of this problem as I've been unable to recreate it myself. However, I will keep looking into it and provide an update as soon as I can.

I'll Private Message you the fix. I've had this same problem with Private Message Admin before and I've fixed it for my next release. Took me a while to figure out too but I got it eventually

Yes, please do. I still haven't found any way of recreating this particular problem yet so if you've had this before then please do share your experiences. I'd really like to know what causes this. Undecided

Hi, In ./admin/adminoptions.php place:
"canmanageemods" => addslashes($newperms['canmanageemods']),

right below
"canrunmaint" => addslashes($newperms['canrunmaint']),

and please tell me if this fixes your problem

Now you can turn the setting to 'yes', but the board still says I haven't got access to the module part.
