So I tried it out and right away, forum's getting a blank page. Checked the code, found a parenthesis missing, fixed it up, still not working. Disabled My Advertisements plugin, which is apparently incompatible, doesn't work. Once I deleted the xThreads plugin file itself, all is working well. I suspect the .php file is at fault. How can I fix this up?

Make sure you have the latest version (download this one: http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=288)

Double check that you uploaded EVERY file. Make sure that everything is also in the correct location.

Yes to both. Well, now I'm missing a file, the plugin file, since that's my ticket back to restoring the forum. I'm running 1.6.4 and I haven't see any plugin interference besides from itself.

I have earlier back ups, but my forum's fine. If I want to get rid of the blank page problem, I just have to remove the xthreads php file in the plugins directory. I'd just like to know what the problem could be.

Did you try to get help on the plugin's official forum?
All my plugins are available for free at MyBB Extend and on my GitHub. MyBB-Plugins.com has been closed and none of my plugins are officially maintained or supported.

Not yet. I'm so behind on things. I have several plugins failing, like awards, board messages, and xthreads. When it comes to phpMyAdmin for awards and board messages, it's fine. Otherwise, doing it via the Admin CP fails. I checked to see if it's a communication problem between the database, etc, but there's no problem with that.
