You can do that, with database.
Copy table--> mybb_users ,mybb_userfileds, mybb_usertitles, mybb_usergroup.

Database stuff is simple but sensitive, So be careful

...where in the ACP is it sirs? I am trying to look for it? Is it in the New Database Back Up? I am at a loss on what to do sirs...also if I could also know how to effect the transfer to the new forum...thanks again sirs, awaiting for replies once more...
...I am trying to create a back up mybb forum but without all the plug-ins...just the bare mybb...

Open phpmyadmin (from where you want to get members), find tables mybb_users ,mybb_userfileds, mybb_usertitles, mybb_usergroup. Make a backup of them and download them and then open phpmyadmin (where you want to add members) upload those downloaded tables with a query of update
