Solved: 12 Years, 9 Months ago Question
Hello,

A couple of minutes ago I installed the RSS feed plugin onto my website and then activated it. Upon activating it I entered the correct information for the RSS feed although I'm having some slight problems. The account which posts the news is named 'News Bot'. It doesn't show the images to the news on my website, it doesn't quote the text (just posts it) and it doesn't show the source. Is there anyway to edit the RSS feed myself or somehow get the images working?

Thanks a lot, here's my website featuring the news on the homepage: http://uzi-gaming.com/

RSS feeds have HTML content whereas HTML is disabled by default in MyBB.

Oh, is there any possible way to edit this or is it a permanent thing featured within MyBB?

Try this plugin, and give HTML in posts access to the Bot's user ID (I'm not even sure if it has one, but give it a try).

Well you can actually enable it based on Forums by ACP -> Forums & Posts -> your Forum -> Edit Forum (Options) -> "Yes, allow HTML in posts". But it will enable HTML for all, which is not so good.

So it should appear like this?:

no "id=", just a string of comma separated numbers
Lost interest, sold my sites, will browse here once in a while. It's been fun.

Ok, I realised that after a while haha. By the way, after doing this does it update the already created posts or will the HTML kick into the new posts created afterwards instead? If it's supposed to update with HTML in the old posts then it's not working.

Thanks though.

You'll probably need to contact the plugin author for support.
