[JavaScript] Checking if username is available - Having Problem

my username checking was getting stuck and keep loading. that was my problem. Is that same for you? If so then I cannot quite remember how I did it as it was bit too long ago. I think I removed the plugin Ajax PM notification which was causing the problem.
