Announcements like in phpBB

It would be great if you could post forum announcements like in phpBB, where in the newthread page you can select sticky or announcement. It would be a bit easier to manage.

I have a suggestion, why the page title of an announcement is "Announcement" and not the subject of the annoncement?? :O

Its a "question" and not the "suggestion" Toungue

Go to: ACP > Templates > your theme templates > Ungrouped Templates > announcement > Search;
{$lang->announcements}
and Replace it with;
{$announcementarray['subject']}

It should now show the Subject of your announcement. Wink
