Shouldn't really take time to sort itself out, if there's been a problem then it;d sort itself straight away once you remove it. If you look in your server error log it should say what's actually causing the errors.

Here's the only thing it identifies:

Go to ACO > Tools & Maintenance > Task Manager > View Task Logs > see which ones ran at Sun Oct 30 19:21:18; the timezone (and therefore the hour in the logs) may be different though deepening on what the server time is set to.

Says user-cleanup was successfully run at that time.
