thanks ranjani. i changed the mainwrap and header's 960 to a new number and are working. i just have two problems more with the adjustment. i dont know where to fix that width behind the search bar and that pointed line in the footer.

They're both fixed width images, you'll need to create larger images.

so fortunate that i was able to get your opinions guys. yes, it's the fixing of the images according to desired pixels and uploading them to replace the old ones. solved here.
