can word filter create links?

I believe you need to allow html in posts!

ACP -> Forum Management -> select your forum where you want to enable HTML -> Edit Forum (select from the options button) -> and tick "Yes, allow HTML in posts".

david, he will have the same problem I mentioned above, the subject will get filtered as well,but it wont parse the mycode. if you enable html, that is fine ofr those groups that can use it,but the word filter will still apply and he will see the raw html code if not allowed to use html.

he needs a plugin

I think a plugin would be the best way to go. I think it would be a really useful plugin don't you?

I'm not quite following, because I used HTML and got it to work, if we are talking about simple words in posts then he should be able to just replicate what I did?
