i have installed my forum in root/forum directroy

so when i open my forum portal page then it comes in root/forum/portal.php

i want to make the portal my homepage
so i want to change the link when i type only my main site name without /forum then portal come i want it.

Please someone tell how to make it?

I need to move /forum/portal.php file to root?

you can use a .htaccess on your root directory with below rule

DirectoryIndex forum/portal.php index.php
