Transparent border

Hello mybb.
Basically i want a transparent border like http://www.grsites.com/ for my forum. Now I know they use images but is there away just using css. If not. I can make transparent images but i'll need to know what templates to modify and how... thanks.

You can use CSS for tyransparency, but using .png transparent images is a good choice.
