DyMy User Agent - Browser & OS Icons in the postbit!
#61
Hi

I found a few bugs in the plug:

1) When I write post using the latest version of IE (11.0), it detects browser: Mozilla (not IE). Why?
2) Windows 8.1 is also not supported - detects: Windows NT

When will it be updated?

These are not bugs with the program itself. They are with the website that the information is obtained from via API. Point in fact, both IE 11 and Windows 8.1 are supported, unless the useragent string itself is being sent wrong. You can go to www.useragentstring.com and take a screenshot of the results. Attach said screenshot here, and I'll explain in detail why it is currently being mis-detected.

Hello!

Does anyone know, how to delete "alt" attribute from detected browsers and OS?

Did you actually read the thread? Perhaps just 2 posts above yours where I already addressed this?

I did read the posts above, but I'm confused becasue I'm running 8.1 but it just says Windows_98_nt_2000 even the useragentstring site shows that

Here is what it shows:

Also would it be possible to convert the Windows NT thing to say Windows 8/8.1?

What do you want? It's a http://www.useragentstring.com problem not plugin.
English is not my native language, so, sorry for any mistakes which I will do for sure.

There should be a function to parse the user agent then in this plugin.
