Isn't there an easier way to install plugins???

Forgive me but I am new. Can someone elaborate what 'respective folders means'?

I work with drupal and wordpress, there we upload the files in a given folder.

The Plugin Uploader plugin is handy for uploading plugins (allowing you to upload plugins straight from the AdminCP).

When downloading a plugin, there's often a couple of folders. The files in those should be uploaded to MYBBROOT/foldername .
