But with your forked copy of Plugin Library, everything seems perfect. The current version is very stable. I just need to run a few tests more and need to check if there are any major performance issue.
Yeah, it is pretty stable right now Smile I just can't really release it till frostschutz updates and I add a PL version check to the code or else I'll end up with millions of people reporting the same error.

I just tested the plugin and I really love it.

One small thing would be - maybe you might want to add
.myalerts_popup_wrapper .myalerts_popup {
z-index: 2;
}

because:
I'm not sure if it's general case, but I had problem with Unova theme from AudentioDesign - the breadcrumb element was layering over the popup menu.
   
Adding z-index helped. Smile
   
Yeah, users will likely have to modify the CSS to get it to fit with their theme anyway. I'll consider adding a z-index though.
