Animated Rainbow Usernames

Can someone help me with pcfreak's reply or how to get this to work after the update.

How do i get past the security error in header include when adding this:

$(function () {
$(".rainbowText").each(function(i, b){$(b).rainbowText()});
}

);

})(jQuery);

Also where do i upload his plugin? I have it uploaded to inc/plugins and javascript and neither make the plugin show up?

I tried to add this to my forum, but when I add the script to the footer it adds a ton of nbsp's and I can't seem to get around that. Is there any fix for that?
