So i got a new router today and now i have a different IP address. I have put a .htaccess in my admin directory allowing my old IP only. So I went to that file and changed it. But it still redirects me to the site in the .htaccess (google). So i then deleted it but it still redirects me to google?

I'm guessing he was on shared hosting seeing as he was using a .htaccess file so likely wouldn't have the ability to stop/start services like that.
