[General] uploads on server

This user has been denied support.

i have uploaded files on forum and its stored in upload folder on server.

i want to change something regarding to it.
1...how can i set uploads as date wise rather than monthly as seen default on server.

2...In upload folder all file has different name rather than file name and it has also .attach extension. so how can i change it to file name? so it is easy to find file on server.

For # 2: You can find the attachment name in phpMyAdmin > mybb_attachments table > and in "filename" column. The files are renamed for some reasons while uploading.
