i disabled but am left with the space still?

Just deactivate the plugin?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I've spent all morning searching for a way to pull the sidebar boxes on portal.php ({$welcome}, {$pms}, {$search}, {$stats}, {$whosonline}, {$latestthreads}) into the sidebar that's built into this theme. This plugin seems to be the key, but I can't find a working link anywhere. I would PM the plugin's creator, but it looks like he hasn't been online in about three months. Any ideas? Is there a way to pull this off without a plugin? Thanks in advance.
