I'm having performance issues according to Google PageSpeed Insights for Leverage browser caching. After some research I added the following code to my .htaccess file but results are no better, what am I doing wrong?
Is my formatting okay? Are codes in proper use?

I'll be using {Your Domain} in place of host domain, MyBB is placed in /forums/ of domain in this .htaccess file:

I'm not an .htaccess expert but HTML5 Boilerplate comes with very solid stuff in their .htaccess file. Give this a go:

Quick question and maybe somebody can give me an answer to it. When doing the above (which greatly improves page speed) i do notice one additional less wanted change. Directly after creating a new thread this does not immediately popup in the thread list.
Same applies for post it requires a physical reload (through f5 or the button) to actually make them show up properly.

Is this normal or is this something that can be fixed somehow.

Could this have anything to do with the send no cache headers option?

I've never actually seen this happen before and I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be caused by the above as the PHP mime type isn't cached. Do you perchance have MyBB's stock SEO URLs enabled (thread-x.html)?

Yes, i have those enabled would that be the cause of the problem? Because currently i am using pavemen:

Which weirdly does not result in the same problem. But you think it has to do with the stock seo friendly URls?

It could do. I rarely use Apache so I'm not completely sure how it works. When I have used it the above has worked though.

I even checked but the mod mine module is enabled. Ah well the one of pavemen might not be as good as yours but for now it works. Still wonder what the cause would be that it doesnt work, i tried others to but all seem to cause the same problems.

I wonder if it has something to do with the last line of the htaccess from mybb (the one about cache). Maybe those two collide.

1. The loading time of all the links that i was visted is so fast.
