It would be nice as a plugin, and shouldn't be hard to code.

If you do try to code it; make sure that the first post's content is added to the first reply (perhaps in a quote), also make sure that if the thread's name had changed change it in the first reply and have the option to delete the whole thread in-tact (have the option to delete first post only underneath).
Not sure it has any real need unless that a user wants everything deleted for a board but the admin wants the content to remain. |
