Change Website Icon Next To URL?

Hello, I just wondering how you change the little icon next to your url on the website, such as Facebook is the "F" and twitter is the blue bird.

In your forum's main directory, upload a favicon.ico file.

You will probably need to clear cache afterwards to view it.

If you don't have a .ico file you can create one online importing a png file for example:
http://www.degraeve.com/favicon/

Simple and easy =)

PS: as you may have assumed that icon is called "favicon"

There are some plugins for this...like one I submitted to the mods site a while ago.
