[How To?] Create a different header message for registered and non-registered users

If you are a registered users you will see one message.

IF you are an unregistered user, you will see a different message.

Cannot find this in the settings. I am using 1.6.4 (will be upgrading to 1.6.8 soon).

you mean you want to display text to register people and to display another text to unregistered people? if that right!
go to Templates and style > templates > theme you want > Header >
1-header_welcomeblock_guest (for unregistered) > Choose the place you want your text to be
2-header_welcomeblock_member (for registered) > Choose the place you want your text to be
