Today I had some time to test your newest atchgallery.php. Thank you for that, I like it.
But unfortunatly guests still see a red cross instead of pics. How can I manage it like you said? (See your post above please).

If guests do not have permission to view your forum, they won't be able to view the gallery box at all.

ACP > Forums & Post (at the top) > Options (next to whichever forum you want to edit) > Permissions > Uncheck the "All?" box or the "Can view?" box for the "Guest" row > Save

Edit- try the new file.

The gallery will display only if:
The user can view the source forum.
The user can view the source forum's threads.
The user can download attachments.

When you update, also make sure you clear the cache by going to http://yourforum.com/index.php?atchgallery_flush=1

Oooo, I see. This seems to be a big misunderstanding. I want guests to see the forums but they are not allowed to read in these forums. So I thought I just enter the gid of the groups which can see the “Latest Attachment Gallery“. Like: If gid=3,4,6,8 can view attachgallery. Or: If gid=1,5,7 can’t view attachgallery.
Is that possible, too?

Just ask again for a solution. Smile
It looks so bad for guests. Sad

Hey Susanne,

Extremely sorry about the lack of update. I meant to post a reply for you last time but I've been caught up in school-related stuff.

I have a fix for you. Can I get it to you by this weekend?

Hello Jeff, hello everybody

I did what you asked all the other users to get the atchgallery to show up, but it doesn't. You asked anywhere if there is a atchgallery template under global templates. I don't have this template. I can't see your atchgallery anywhere on my board and it's not only the atchgallery which refuses to show up. I would really like to get it. Thanks a lot in advance and keep up your good work.

Regards

Hey,

Please try checking if the plugin is activated and installed.
Then proceed to find the template called header and see if {atchgallery} exists in that template (use ctrl+f).
If it's not there, try to reinstall (uninstall then install) the plugin.

If all fails, please PM me your forum address and I'll check it out.
