Not Solved [How To?] Rel Nofollow to Unnecessary Stuff
#1
Not Solved
Hello All!

Just want to know how to make rel="nofollow" (I mean nofollow) to the Member List, profiles, Help Documents, Reputation reports, Search Results, Calendar etc.

When I checed in Google, there are about 244 results from my forum (indexing all sort of things listed above) when there are only 20 threads.

I would like to make un-necessary stuff to nofollow.

How to do this?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Srinivas

If you want to stop Google from indexing something, you have to use robots.txt to block it from the unwanted locations.

Nofollow does not prevent indexing, it just stops giving weight / ranking to the linked site. And even if you set all links nofollow on your site, you can not influence whether other sites linking to you use nofollow or not.
