Looking forward to seeing it. I plan to release a "skeleton" theme in 2013 based on the Humanization Project. Hopefully you're not adhering to what I shared too much, haha

Nah, I'm really not a person to copy nor to replicate - I honestly can't do it. So You'll be for sure to see something unique, obviously inspired by you.

Yea, I hated the button. But I hate this box even more. Really, it is the blasted smilies. If those were a dropdown on the editor then all my "problems" would be solved.

So if you're wondering why you're not getting members, or working on a new theme and want to share it, here's a good place to dump it without spamming new threads everywhere Smile

For myself, I'm working on V4 of Harajuju, which isn't so much of an overhaul as V3 as it is a refinement of the existing concepts. Improving styling slightly, reducing the use of images in the interface, etc.

First on the chopping block is Haralooks. Here's what is currently:

And here's where it's headed.

Nice, I'm really digging the pinterest style design!

To get rid of the subject, you could probably have it submit as a hidden field with the username + the date or something.

Experiments are always fun haha. It's going to take an extreme amount of changing before it'd even be close to be used as an actual website. But I am actually learning a bit, and maybe I'll be able to use parts of it for future forums.

And I'll try that to get rid of the subject, thanks.

Here's something I have done or introduced today. Google shopping deals:

Currently works for USA only, but I'll try to provide with an option for all the countries that Google supports.

Thanks Jessie.

Ms. Fish, I think even without the smilies it's still not gonna be great. Quick reply makes sense because once you reach the bottom of the page/thread, hey, maybe you'd like to reply! Right away! New thread doesn't really have the same issue. I'd just hate to see you invest a lot of time into fixing something that isn't really an issue.

I was literally talking with a friend to make a site like that with a friend yesterday.

Once you remove all the superfluous elements, you begin to realize just how little information this page displays. There has to be something better.
