[How To?] Add smilies

I've added some extra smiles and I know they work because I can access them directly via the URL however on the add smile menu it shows them up as blank

I have enclosed some screenshots.

ETA : It seems the mass adding of smilies gives me this problem but adding them one by one works.

Any solution is appreciated as it's too time consuming adding them all one by one.

Have you tried clearing out the smilies cache before doing them one by one?

Tools & Maintenance -> Cache Manager -> Smilies

Adding them one by one works, it's mass adding them that does not work, I have tried your suggestion and will try mass adding them now *holds off posting reply* - still does not work.
