You are far too generic and your tabs layout is allowing you to repeat the same sections - you have several forums called Chat or reviews - all for different sub topics. This is the perfect way to fragment your content and make all of the forums look half empty.

You cannot justify tabs. Tab are needed when your index page is ludicrously long because the index is full of specific categories and forums with lots of content. Your index probably is ludicrously long because of the number of forums and categories, but the good news (sort of) is they are not filled with lots of content. So you can easily recombine your repeated forums into one.

Make every existing category a forum. Make every existing forum a thread prefix. Then you will have a MUCH smaller index page and won't need the tabs. Simples.

Ok tabs are off now look at the skin some of it seems to be bigger than the other bits anyone know the problem

That would be in the templates. It looks like there are some stray divs or something left behind after removing the tabs. It is probably in the Forum Bit templates.
