With 27 posts and 7 members you really don't need any staff members at all. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who start a forum and decide they need 20 staff members to moderate very few posts. Even some of the largest forums only have less than 10 staff members. There's really no need to assign people moderator status, in some cases it'll backfire on you.

As for the domain, I highly recommend purchasing a top level domain. A free subdomain won't get you anywhere. If your forum name is AlphaGaming, try going for AlphaGaming.com or something along those lines. Branding is important. You wouldn't create a site about pets with the domain movieforum.com, would you?

Lastly, I'd advise removing the Shoutbox. I understand it's a popular feature for gaming forums but as you're a new forum those shouts could easily become posts. Posts are more sought after than shouts, and will help to increase user activity and discussion.

Good luck!

There are various registrars you could use such as namecheap.com, godaddy.com (Not recommended personally), and name.com. They're very cheap at less than $10 per year.
