Thanks for getting back.

From a quick go through your code, I can see you run the same function on both areas, validate_post and validate_thread. Now running the same function, what happens is on validate_thread the minimum message char count for the post is called which is possibly triggering this.

So the simple solution would be to make two functions, both each for their own, so it won't trigger this I believe.
