report post option - can i turn it off

i don't want the report post option turned on on my board.

can i turn it off and remove the button via easily.

You can remove the button and the file if you choose, but I don't think you are able to disable it.

ACP -> Templates -> Modify / Delete -> *Template Set* -> Post Bit Templates -> postbit

Find/Remove:

{$post['button_report']}

will that leave an empty space where the button was or will it shift the rest along.

It'll just shift the buttons over.
