Is it possible to hide a certain forum from Today's Post?

I have a Political only section in my forum. Is there a way to not have threads from that section appear on "Today's Posts"?


Just means if Politics is that important to you then you can go to that section to see what's new. No need for the rest of us to see 15 new political threads whenever we come to the site.

you can try using nosearch plugin available here
you may have to change compatibility line in the plugin file to make it work for 1.6.x series.

It lets users choose the ignored forums, not sure if that's what you want but imo better than blocking the Politics for those who wish to read it.

I think I'll try that. It seems the pro Obama crowd suddenly hates the idea of anyone talking about politics.
