have you checked System Mail Log available at tools & maintenance section ?

^ do members receive any mail from your forum (eg. activation,subscription) ? which mail system (php / smtp) you are using ?

how to configure the mail because it said that there are 9 settings and i see 3oh i need to configure the mail settings to? on IPB that was automatically but how to configure the mail?

^ System Mail Log available at tools & maintenance section should consist of error log. can you recheck that

My problem is similar... except my users are receiving the password reset email, but it is blank.
