How to position lvl image before nickname?

Hey guys!
I found this awesome plugin:

I know variable of this plugin but when I'm placing it in postbit_author_user it doesn't appears.What's the problem?Default it is in postbit.

My second question to this plugin is about these images.Could I replace them with css generated rounded square.Css makes it cleaner than png or gif graphics.Please give me suggestion how could I handle it.Thanks guys.

it appears that there is no plugin hook available to use variables in postbit_author_user template (ref.)

this plugin uses 18 images. using css styles instead of so many images is a difficult task!

But is it possible to create new stylesheet for this plug only?I want to style this images with css manually.And how to make a hook in postbit author user or place it before nickname in postbit?
