currently the links on my forum are:

www.exemple.ex/thread-hello-friend

do you think it is better to turn this into:

www.exemple.ex/thread-hello-friend.html

and maybe even

www.exemple.ex/category/thread-hello-friend.html

or leave it as the beginning?

please help me.

Adding .html to the end will only make your URLs longer. They add no value.

^ it is not compulsory to have html URLs for SEO purpose and Google does not punish for not having html URLs
