Basicly, let me start by saying. I'd like to transfer a vbulletin 4.0.3 forum to a MyBB forum through the merge system.
Now I was thinking, of installing a mybb on my localhost, and then perform the merge there, and if it all goes good. Upload the database onto my FTP etc with a new install of mybb. Is this possible?
Now the second thing is. I have no clue how to actually do the merge. Like no clue. There is no guide anywhere, at all. I understand, what I need to do is to install mybb, get a DB from PHPmyadmin of my vbulletin forum (?) and then put the merge folder inside the mybb folder.
And then what? What happens next? How do I actually start the merge, there is no .exe to run etc.
I would like just a simple guide on to how to actually do this. And I would love if someone could make an proper guide and sticky it, or film it etc. So people don't have to go through this as I am in the future. Maybe I'll do it once I get a hang of it hehe.
Also, I've already followed this simple guide
http://community.mybb.com/thread-141479.html
To help me not getting troubles during the merge.
That's all from me. thank you.
Regards, Toledo.
