I moved my hosts so I installed a new copy of MYBB and using the merge system merged the old copy with the new stock one.

Peculiarly everything succeeded except the user reputations. What can I do please advise.

just a note: you could have used earlier set of files and the database. not sure how you got merge idea!

Really I could have used the old DB? I just wanted actually to move to MYSQLi. The new host offered it.
Is there no help from the community? A MyBB to MyBB import fails.
