pay register problems

I downloaded and installed pay register. Here is the link http://mods.mybb.com/view/pay-register . The problem I have is when I go the the admin control panel and go to the plugin page to activate it there is no plugins listed. Just the error message.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/content/c/a/r/caryyork12011/html/forum/upload/inc/languages/english/admin/payregister.lang.php on line 1

Why there is 'upload' in your file path?
... r/caryyork12011/html/forum/upload/inc/languages/english/admin ...

Aren't you supposed to upload the file / folder from inside 'upload' folder instead of uploading the 'upload' folder itself?
