Spam bots

Hi

My forum is facing a lot of spam bot registrations. All their e-mails end with .pl . I don't know what to do. My forum is new and has 97 members in which there are 60+ spam bots :s

What can I do?
And no use banning IP addresses. Every account has a different IP.

also replace the "Powered by Mybb" text in the footer into a image with a link back to mybb.com

ReCAPTCHA helps, but it's also pretty annoying sometimes. I'd install registration security questions to help, and use Goodbye spammer for banning accounts, or just do as I do and delete the account, they're a waste of database space.

It's a premium plugin by a prominent member here, it disallows a user from posting specific words you choose if they have under 10 posts. For example, a lot of forums have issues with credit card fraud spam, so you can block things such as CCV, credit, etc. That plugin is very useful, and I even modified it to only look at users with under 2 posts as most spammers only post once or twice in my experience.
