It will still take some time to make the autocomplete module work everywhere (it has to juggle between simple textareas and SCEditor ones & its editable document elements), however the MyAlerts integration part (including the possibility to load custom extensions, like mentions in a shoutbox) is working well and is likely to be released in the meantime soon
