I've tried favicon.ico and favicon.png and the png shows like this: gamingcreed.co.uk/favicon.png but it doesn't appear on the actual site? I added it yesterday. Any help?

I've tried this and it still doesn't appear, I've tried several hard refreshes over night, and also I have tried clearing the browser's cache and restarting the browser but no luck.

i cant see a favicon located at http://gamingcreed.co.uk/favicon.ico, it shows a 404 error

there is only a png image at http://gamingcreed.co.uk/favicon.png

upload a favicon.ico to the root directory

Yeah I've been told a .png works also, I've tried but no luck still.

Your code is wrong: here is the correct format that works with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer

Add Favicon That Works With IE, Chrome & Firefox
